1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We collect the following types of information:

• Account Information: Email address, name (optional)
• Health Data: Nutrition logs, weight, exercise data, sleep data (via HealthKit/Oura integration)
• Photos: Food photos you submit for logging
• Usage Data: App interactions, feature usage (if you consent to analytics)

2. HOW WE USE YOUR DATA

Your data is used exclusively to:

• Provide the Rubric service (logging, coaching, reports)
• Improve our AI models (anonymized, aggregated data only)
• Send you account-related communications

3. WHAT WE DON'T DO

• We don't sell your data. Ever.
• We don't share with advertisers. No ad networks have access.
• We don't use your health data for anything except Rubric.

4. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

We use the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Sentry: Error tracking (no personal health data)
• PostHog: Analytics (opt-in only)
• OpenAI/Anthropic: AI processing (data not retained by providers)

5. APPLE HEALTHKIT

If you connect HealthKit, we read data you authorize (weight, active calories, workouts, sleep). This data is processed locally and synced to your Rubric account. We never share HealthKit data with third parties or use it for advertising.

6. DATA RETENTION & DELETION

Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in app settings. Upon deletion, all personal data is permanently removed within 30 days.

7. DATA EXPORT

You can export all your data at any time from the app. Your data belongs to you.

8. SECURITY

All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). We use industry-standard security practices and regularly audit our systems.
